If you want something bad enough, then you adapt. No matter how much it hurts physically and emotionally.
How do you grab life?
Whenever I’m training, on snow or off, I will be as productive as possible for every second of it, really grabbing life to the fullest. On days off I get to the snow as much as I can, enjoying what I live for. When I’m in Sydney, I’m mostly at school but I try to get as much time at the beach and seeing my friends.
What’s on your bucket list?
- 2018 Paralympic Games
- A good summer holiday (haven’t had one in 7 years)
- Finish HSC
- Do a lot more freeriding/hiking
What would be your ideal way to spend the weekend?
At the snow, riding with my good mates with good conditions and great groomed snow that is good for carving and also throwing new tricks in the park. Then it should snow overnight and we get awesome freshies on Sunday!
Any hidden talents?
Well I would say snowboarding but that’s what I’m here for, so not really!
What would be a good theme song for your life?
No Problem – Chance the Rapper
Biggest defining moment in your life?
3rd in the X Games 2016 and being the Australian Paralympic closing ceremony flag bearer in Sochi 2014.
Your go to meal?
If you didn’t have to sleep, what would you do with the extra time?
Probably snowboard or catch up with Netflix shows.
What would be the most amazing adventure to go on?
Either Heli-boarding in places like Alaska or Japan with amazing powder every run OR a really tropical place in a foreign location with no real communication or connection to the western world.
